At 19 years old, I welcomed my very first dog, Leia, a Dachshund mix, into my life. She was the beginning of a journey that would eventually become so much more than I ever imagined.
For years, I dreamed of owning a cream Dachshund. That dream finally came true when Eddy, affectionately named after Prince Edward County, joined my life.
Eddy was my first purebred Dachshund, and little did I know how much he would change the direction of my life.
As Eddy grew, people began encouraging me to consider showing him. What started as curiosity soon developed into a genuine passion for conformation showing. Along the way, I met wonderful people, formed lasting friendships, and gained a deeper appreciation for the Dachshund’s breed standard, history, and purpose.

It wasn’t until Lilac joined our family that my journey into breeding began.

Watching our own generations develop, evaluating their strengths, and thoughtfully planning for the future has become one of the most rewarding aspects of preservation breeding.
What began as a childhood love for Dachshunds has grown into a commitment to preserving the qualities that make this breed so remarkable.

Located in beautiful Prince Edward County, Ontario, we share our home and hearts with our beloved Miniature Smooth and Longhaired Dachshunds, along with our rescue dog and cats.
Our dogs are an important part of our family, and our puppies are born and raised in our home, surrounded by the everyday experiences of family life.
Beyond our breeding program, we enjoy participating in conformation shows, Earthdog, and other activities that celebrate the Dachshund’s natural instincts and abilities. We also value our involvement in the Dachshund community through breed clubs, education, mentorship, and the wonderful friendships we’ve made along the way.
What began as a personal passion has become something our whole family shares. We feel incredibly fortunate to be raising the next generation of Dachshunds alongside our own children.
We are grateful for the experiences, friendships, and wonderful families this journey has brought into our lives, and we look forward to what the future holds.
